No, it's a trick. I can't fly. Maybe, if I work on the web long enough, I will stumble across the solution to this issue. But, for the time being it's not on the top of my priority list.
My name is Dylan. I'm a bloke from Australia and I'm workin' the web.
I'm learning and learning.
And learning...
I've studied art and really enjoyed it. I could follow that path if I choose, but I choose not to. I don't want to become a bitter artist. I want to be a happy man with an artistic world somewhere... So, that's why I'm a web worker. I get to be creative solving interesting, new and tricky problems. I also get to make silly mistakes and kick myself a fair bit.
I enjoy the web. I work on it (almost) every day.
I began making websites when I was in high school. Just little things on Geocities. I came across one the other day. It just might be the best one I've ever done, and maybe the best one I'll ever do. Central Coast Bodyboarding. The site is complete with a splash page, blink tag, frames, psycho colours and confusing heirarchy. I'm blushing already and I haven't even posted this copy!
I fell out of step with the web stuff for a while. I've been back for a few years now. I have a list of things to understand, and I'm slowly ticking them off (with the understanding that the understanding is barely an understanding...?!?!). I'm running a small business which (barely) pays the bills for now, but it's a great way to develop skills and surf a lot.
I've met lots of great people. I enjoy this. I can see so many possibilities and it's very exciting. Weeeee!
